What Is HRMS Haryana? (Full Form and Purpose)
HRMS stands for Human Resource Management System. The Haryana Government adopted it in 2017 as a flagship programme, and it is developed by NIC-Haryana.

HRMS Haryana vs Intra Haryana: Which Login Do You Need?
This is where most people get confused. NIC’s own write-up says the work is split across two portals:
HRMS (hrmshry.nic.in) for nodal officers and authorities, and IntraHry (intrahry.gov.in) for employees.

HRMS Haryana Login: Step by Step
For Officials and Nodal Officers
- Open https://hrmshry.nic.in in your browser.
- Enter your Checker ID and password.
- Request the OTP. It goes to the mobile number mapped to that ID.
- Enter the OTP and click Verify.
This flow comes from an official Haryana user manual, which describes Checker ID, password and OTP verification.
For Employees
- Open https://intrahry.gov.in.
- If you are new, register first. The system sends an OTP to the mobile number stored in your department records.
- Set a password, then log in.
Some third-party pages say the HRMS home page also offers OTP and password login
for employees. Follow whatever options the official domain shows you.

Why the mobile number matters: OTP goes only to the number stored in department
records. If that is outdated, you will be locked out no matter how many times you try.
HRMS Haryana Salary Slip
Your salary slip is on the employee portal, not the admin HRMS page. Log in to intrahry.gov.in
and open the salary section. The e-salary system is part of the state’s Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS) and, as the Tribune reported, is linked with the HRMS portal.

If your pay looks wrong, first check whether your service book data is verified.
The Chief Secretary has warned that employees whose e-service books were not verified could face
salary-related problems.
How to Apply Leave on HRMS Haryana
Leave is applied online on intrahry.gov.in. The Haryana Government announced online leave submission and approval for employees from 1 April 2019.

How to Transfer an Employee in HRMS Haryana
An employee cannot transfer themselves. Transfers are done by the competent authority, and the government has said all transfer orders, including temporary ones, must be issued through the HRMS module. Orders issued outside HRMS are treated as invalid, and joining reports must also be submitted online.
Why this matters: If you receive an order without an HRMS-generated record, you may not be allowed to join the new station.

- A Model Online Transfer Policy, 2026 has been issued. The Haryana Chief Secretary’s office lists
instructions on its implementation and HRMS data updation. Read the policy text for your cadre. - For Group D employees under the 2023 revised policy, linking Aadhaar or PPP with HRMS
was made mandatory to join a transfer drive. - Departments also need a transfer advisory from the Chief Minister’s Office before transferring Group A, B, C and D staff, as reported by the Tribune.

HRMS Haryana Gramin Bank: Is It the Same System?
No. Haryana Gramin Bank is a bank, and its staff HR system is separate from the state government’s HRMS. I did not find an official public staff-login page for the bank. If you work there, ask your bank HR team for the correct link.
The bank has also warned customers about fraudsters sending APK files and links by SMS and WhatsApp. Never install an app from a message.
